Whakatane Kiwi Tee

AS colour 100% cotton available in men's coal colour 'Paper' tee and Woman's navy 'Mali' tee. Lightweight, great for summer. Printed with water based ink to produce a ‘soft hand’ effect so it feels like part of the cotton.

I have been very fortunate to have several close encounters with New Zealand's national icon. I wanted to create another design that celebrates and promotes the North Island brown Kiwi that live in the Ohope reserve. Because of the close proximity to urban environments and the incredible volunteer work that goes into helping them thrive, Whakatane is now known as the Kiwi capital of the world!
